Welcome To Whirligig Preschool where we spin with learning and whirl with fun
We are an in home preschool in SW Portland’s Multnomah Village. Situated on an1/3 of an acre lot full of trees and adventure, our focus is on giving our students plenty of natural room to grow in, as well as a creative space to enjoy a low teacher child ratio. Our philosophy of emergent curriculum allows us to follow the child’s natural path of discovery, enjoying each child’s curiosity and interests.
In addition, we provide an environment to encourage the emotional, social and cognitive development of our students. Learning skills such as alphabet awareness, numbers, gross and fine motor skills through the act of play, as well as the development of both an individual and group social awareness is our goal. We want to give each child a sense of being cherished, included and respected, as all children should be. Every Whirligig day is seen as a unique opportunity for your child to take another step forward, through play and social interaction, towards their personal path of development.
